SUBWALK has a brand new studio at the Arien Verhoeffstraat 8 in Arnhem! This will be the location from which it all happens. Since the SUBWALK shop closed about a year and a half ago (can't believe time goes so fast) SUBWALK has been using G.A.N.G.'s officespace and became part of the 'family'. But it is time for me to leave the nest and have a place of my own again.

Vandaag, maandag 27 juni start Collin van der Sluijs met een muurschildering boven Caffee Rijnboog aan de Trans 12. In de muurschildering worden historische en hedendaagse elementen (het water, de stad, de dynamiek) verwerkt. Nieuwsgierig? Je bent welkom om te komen kijken en Collin aan het werk te zien! Collin is vanaf maandag 27 juni – vrijdag 1 juli van 9 - 17 u en 19 - 21 u aan het werk. Vrijdag 1 juli vanaf 17u ben je welkom bij Caffee Rijnboog voor de presentatie van de muurschildering.

Excursie:  Op zaterdag 2 juli a.s. nemen we je mee langs verschillende locaties in en om de Antwerpse haven. Hier zijn veel dorpen in de loop van de tijd opgeslokt en verloren gegaan door de chaotische groei van de haven. Tijdens de excursie worden er unieke plekken aangedaan, zoals Fort Lillo, de eenzame kerktoren van Wilmarsdonk en het verlaten dorp Doel.

Vorig jaar bestond de Arnhemse Hall of Fame 25 jaar. In samenwerking met diverse local heroes is er een archief aangelegd van foto's uit de enorme privé collecties van de schrijvers zelf. Deze foto's hebben ons geïnspireerd om het archief uit te breiden en een boek samen te stellen over deze unieke Hall of Fame.

door Frank Anthonie van Alphen NIJMEGEN – Een parkeergarage als podium voor uitzinnige dans en urban arts. Dat viel zondag onder de noemer Gruwelijk Hard te beleven in hartje Nijmegen, in de Eiermarktgarage. Bij binnenkomst wordt de bezoeker verwelkomd door expositie This is not A- sign.Fraai. Verrassend zoveel kleurigs temidden van het grijze beton. Verderop geeft rapper Overtref een galmend optreden. De beats dreunen door de garage. Maar dat weerhoudt het publiek er niet van instemmend ritmisch mee te knikken.
