Aanvullend op de expositie Push & Pull bij SUBWALK zal op zaterdag 29 oktober de film Died Young Stayed Pretty vertoond worden bij het Focus Filmtheater.

DOCU
Died Young, Stayed Pretty biedt een openhartig kijkje in de underground poster cultuur in Noord Amerika. Deze unieke documentaire gaat in op de creatieve geest die deze indie grafisch ontwerpers drijft. Ze halen hun inspiratie uit het uitschot van de schizofrene Amerikaanse cultuur en verwerken dit in hun ontwerpen.

EXPO
Voor Push & Pull selecteerde Mara Piccione 16 internationale posterontwerpers en zet met hun zeefdrukken een unieke verzameling aan zeefdruk poster art neer. Deze uitgebreide verzameling toont een grote variatie in stijl, een interessante line-up aan bands en geeft de bezoeker bovendien de mogelijkheid een van deze zeer gelimiteerde zeefdrukken te kunnen bemachtigen. De zeefdrukken komen o.a. uit  Amerika, Engeland, Duitsland, Frankrijk, Oostenrijk en Nederland. De expo is tot 23 oktober te zien is bij SUBWALK!

In addition to the exhibition Push & Pull, SUBWALK will screen the documentary Died Young Stayed Pretty at Focus Filmtheater on october 29th.

DOCUMENTARY
Died Young, Stayed Pretty provides a candid look at the underground poster culture in North America. This unique documentary examines the creative spirit that drives these indie graphic artists. They draw their inspiration from the scum of the schizophrenic American culture and process it in their designs.

EXHIBITION
For Push & Pull Mara Piccione selected sixteen international poster designers and presents a unique collection of silkscreen printed poster art through their designs. This extensive collection shows a great variety in style, an interesting band line-up and also gives the visitor the possibly to acquire one of the limited edition silkscreen prints. The prints are from America, Englands, Germany, France, Austria and the Netherlands. The exhibition will be up till october 23rd at SUBWALK.
