Esther Aarts // Kenmerkend voor Esther Aarts haar illustraties is de charmante vintage geïnspireerde beelden en de handmatige typografie. De technieken die ze gebruikt ondersteunen deze old school uitstraling. Ze weet oude en nieuwe technieken zodanig te combineren dat haar handschrift volledig tot bloei komt. Deze illustrator en grafisch ontwerper uit Nijmegen rolde in het vak vanuit haar DJ achtergrond. Na alles uit het DJ-en gehaald te hebben heeft ze zich op het illustreren gericht waar ze momenteel de vruchten van plukt. Van 16 oktober tot 12 december is Esther tevens te zien in het Museum voor Moderne Kunst Arnhem in het Gelders Balkon 9: Strip, animatie en illustratie.

Esther Aarts // Typical for Esther Aarts her illustrations are the charming vintage inspired images and handwritten typography. The techniques she uses support this old school look. She knows how to combine old and new techniques in order to bring her writing into full blossom. This illustrator and graphic designer from Nijmegen rolled into the design business from a DJ background. When she had seen it all in the DJ world, she has put her focus on illustration from which she is currently reaping the benefits. From October 16 to December 12, Esthers work is also on showing in the Museum of Modern Art in Arnhem, Gelderland Balcony 9: Comic, animation and illustration.
