Collin van der Sluijs is een graag geziene artiest in het buitenland. Vanuit zijn thuisbasis in Maastricht exposeert hij in Duitsland, Frankrijk, Engeland, België, Amerika, Canada, Luxemburg, Italië en Spanje. In Nederland is hij nog relatief onbekend.

Zijn schilderijen, illustraties en muurschilderingen tonen een eigenzinnige verbeelding van zijn humoristische en ironische visie op ons dagelijkse wel en wee. Voor SUBWALK maakte Collin de muurschildering in het Rijnboog gebied die aansluiting vond op de dynamiek van de wijk. Zo vonden verschillende elementen die de locatie passeerden een plek in het werk, zoals de papegaaien van een bewoner van de buurt.

Collin van der Sluijs is a popular artist abroad. From his homebase in Maastricht in the Netherlands, his work has been exhibited in Germany, France, England, Belgium, America, Canada, Luxembourg, Italy and Spain. In the Netherlands he is still relatively unknown. 

His paintings, illustrations and murals show a quirky imagination of his humorous and ironicvision of our daily ups and downs. For SUBWALK Collin made a mural in the Rijnboog area that was connected to the dynamics of the neighborhood. Features that passed the scene found their way into the painting, such as the parrots of an neighbour.
