 Annemieke Olthuijs // Annemieke studeerde recent af aan de Docenten Opleiding bij ArtEZ, met een adembenemende installatie. Ze vertelt met haar eigenzinnige beelden en bijzondere lijnvoering een zeer doordringend en intuïtief verhaal. Woorden zijn overbodig. Als bezoeker wordt je opgenomen in het werk, gemaakt van o.a. karton en tape aangevuld met projecties, waardoor het je raakt tot in je ziel.

Voor SUBWALK maakte ze een speciale installatie in de BACKYARD. De installatie, getiteld ABSENT NIGHT, werd gemaakt van kartonnen figuren gebaseerd op kleine illustraties. De installatie hing verticaal aan een systeem van ijzeren draden voor een blauwe licht wand. Door het blauwe licht veranderde het werk 's avonds in een spel van schaduwpoppen waardoor er meer details zichtbaar onthuld werden.

Voor B*THERE maakte ze een grote raam illustratie, getiteld PEACOCK. 

Voor Gevaarlijk GOED maakte ze een installatie in een parkeergarage, getiteld THE NON BELIEVERS PARTY. Hiervoor gebruikte ze een combinatie van 3 dimensionale dieren en menselijke figuren, krijt tekeningen op de vloer en muren aangevuld door een extra laag door licht projecties.

Annemieke Olthuijs // Annemieke freshly graduated in 'education in art' at ArtEZ with a breathtaking installation. With her quirky images and special lines she tells a very penetrating and intuitive story. Words are superfluous. As a visitor you are included in the work, made of cardboard and tape supplemented with projections, going right to the core of your soul. 

For SUBWALK she made a special installation in the BACKYARD. This installation, titled ABSENT NIGHT, was made from cardboard figures based on very small illustrations. The installation was hanging vertically on iron thread in front off a wall of blue lights. At night, the blue lights turned the installation into shadow puppets showing more details in the figures. 

For B*THERE she worked on a big window piece, titled PEACOCK. 

For Gevaarlijk GOED she worked on an installation based in a garage, titled THE NON BELIEVERS PARTY. Using the combination of 3 dimentional animal and human figures, chalk drawings and the floor and walls. Another layer was added by projecting light.
